Moreover, there are now several self serve kiosk machines directly in front of the desk. I checked in using the kiosk last month; total transaction time approximately 45 second.
Totally a personal choice but I just find the location of the first line inside to be depressing, lighting is poor and the ceiling is low around there just making it a poor area in my opinion when compared to the bright and spacious area outside.
I totally understand if you prefer to get through the process quickly via the self-service solution though.
I'm rarely in a great hurry when checking-in so I prefer Park Lane, but each to their own.
