How abou the luggage situation? Can I do the following:

Clear customs and then just head out with 2nd boarding pass to YYZ and then just checkback in? Or do I have to rechecking my luggage and then head out?

Only reason I am asking this question is that I have never really had connecting flight in the past as I usually just do direct flights which are usually very easy with YYZ. And since my friend finds me many great fares with connecting flights I can't turn them down either.
