Qantas screws me too because I can't get to TSV direct from SYD on Jetstar, so have to fly Qantas via BNE. so annoying.

I don't think the mileage based option makes sense for me since it's total around 32k miles, which falls into the tier 3 xGLOBxx option which is much more than the LONE4.
