i could care less which brand/model car I get, I would just rather get a "CAR" instead of a van/minivan/etc. type of deal. for instance, if they gave me a Toyota Corolla which I assume is a lower class than a Mazda 6 or Fusion, I'd be happy with that too. Maybe I should rent compact class instead of intermediate. But don't give me a Ford Windstar when I rented an intermediate class car even though you think you are doing me a favor by "upgrading" me.

You can call CS and ask them to put, for example, "no minvans" or "foreign cars only" in your profile. That usually helps, though it depends if the location deigns to read the notes about your reservation.
