Terrible experience with parisrentaparts.com

Recently I rented an apartment in the 5th arr with www.parisrentaparts.com. Actually it was recommended by somebody in this forum. I will summarize my experience.
- I have rented many apartments/houses mostly in Buenos Aires and Europe. Never a problem. Always very happy with the experience.
- the rental process was easy, charged a deposit to american express. Told to pay the rest 10 days before arrival
- tried to contact the company via e-mail and phone several times and was unsuccessful.
- Finally somebody answered the cell phone and in my broken French and their English I understood that they no longer use this phone but gave me the new phone
- I called and very nonchalant I was told they changed e-mails and phones. I try to get out of the rental but would loose my deposit.
- I pay the full price but they no longer take American Express even though the website says it does.
- We arrive in Paris, call the phone we are told, no answer. We arrive at the apartment, call again and told will be there right away.
- Mr. Luchmah (the manager?) does not show up but sends somebody else that barely speaks english and opens the door and leaves. Tells me to leave the keys and pull the door the day I leave.
- The elevator is broken for 4/6 days including the day we leave - this is the 4th floor. Mr. Luchmah does not respond when we call his cell phone or e-mail him during our stay.
- I was told they will refund my deposit in 5 days and it is 10 days. I called him 3 times (answered only once to tell me it is on the way) and e-mailed him 3 times with no response. Will be contacting my credit card.

I have never had these problems with any other company or with any private deal.
Anybody else with horror stories about apartment rental?
Any other experience with this company and any other suggestions of what I can do? They belong to 2 organizations: CEI and FIAIP and I am planning on notifying them. I was also told by American Express they are in violation of contract with them if the logo is on the website and they do not accept it.
Thank you
