Quick update: I emailed the GM explaining that it is my wedding anniversary, I would appreciate a nice room if available, and I am open to any ideas to make the weekend memorable. Her staff replied in 4 minutes(!) stating that they love to help make memories, and does my wife like wine or champagne? Quite a great first impression!
