I have flown regularly with Easyjet over the last few years.
It is MUCH better than Ryanair. The prices are clear on the website, and although there can be a scrum at the gate for 'free seating', if you buy speedy boarding, and are not bussed to the aircraft you can avoid this.
Service is friendly and efficient and you are not bombarded by self-praise from Ryanair throughout the flight.
The baggage allowance is very fair: 20kg in hold and as long as you can lift your ONE piece of hand baggage yourself into the overhead lockers, and it fits the maximum dimensions you are well away!!
Food and drink on board is available for sale. The only disappointment can be when the passengers on previous flights have eaten the lot and it wasn't restocked at the turnround airport!!
Easyjet treats its customers politely and is everything Ryanair is not. AND the planes are kept cleaner and the staff treat you like a human being.
However, it is a LCC, and a point-to-point airline and you will need to read the conditions of carriage carefully and adhere to them ..... allowing plenty of time to check in!
