Each to his/her own, but I gotta admit it, I find it bizarre that people would switch itins just to change from one aluminum tube to another one, especially if this means giving up a stopover in an interesting place like Seoul or Hong Kong and epecially if they're flying in J which means that (probably) their employer is paying, and that employer is entitled to efficient and cost-effective routing wherever practical.

That said I am flying JFK - DXB next week on the 380 (and yes, it's the most efficient schedule time- and money-wise), and I admit it, not having flown on a 380 before, I hope EK won't switch it out for a 777....
