With regard to the substantive points you made above, thanks very much for the explanation of them. I'm going to have to calculate whether or not it makes sense to accrue miles or points for these stays (probably 2 nights a week for 10-12 weeks straight).

We have always called it the IC Master Promo Thread. As in another debate in this forum we cant really call it the IC/CP/HI/HIX/SB/CW etc thread
but I know what you mean.
With regards the 2 nights a week stay for 10 - 12 weeks, I would not be using Staybridge or Candlewood as the amount of points I would loose is very high indeed as its not only base points but Plat bonus.
I would really stay away from collecting air miles as these never seem to be a good option at all.
