I don't fear offering $ vouchers...it is part of the package
So are you implying that this information is in the system? Are Flyertalkers right when they ask for $$$ vouchers?
fastair, there's nothing wrong with a passenger not telling the truth (to get $$$ vouchers), since the pax resorted to this 'tactic' to 'force' the gate agent to check the UA profile. @:-) Yeah yeah. I know. Two wrongs don't make a right. What angers me is that the agent has put me in a negative position (for their benefit).

I'm surprised gate agents don't know the information in the UA profile, since assorted forms of bumping are a regular experience.
