and kudos to you and your supe ^^ as you handled it the it should be handled. there is an issue and you assume responsibility for it and you also do not sacrifice the line and have it back up. well done ^^.

From time to time, the airlines will make changes to their boarding passes, but that information is never communicated to the TSA (or, at least, to those of us on the front lines) ahead of time, so we know what to expect. Instead, we have to make a judgment call ... or ask a supervisor or co-worker, which really helps to inspire confidence in our agency. (Not!)
