I have only used the FIRST lounge once at LGW...
I was flying to MAD in CE last year... my previous CE flight back from KRK a few weeks earlier, had been sub-chartered by BA to TITAN airways and I was downgraded to Y as there was no CE cabin. I asked nicely at the desk, explained the above, and was let in. I don't think that there were more than two other people in the lounge...
I wouldn't bother to do it again however, and I understand that one of the Club lounges has been re-furbished? Perhaps Sunrisegirl can help?
Can't agree that all LGW BA lounge staff are FAB, there is one I avoid as they always seem to be miserable, if I spot them at the main entrance, I catch the lift upstairs!!!
