There was an issue with my GF's check in and we just waited till the airport to check her in. Got LAS checked my bag and got a stamp by the check in agent on the boarding pass, she checked my passport etc... gave the GF a paper boarding pass and we headed to security.

Hit the TSA line and the agent was convinced and informed me that she was convinced that it was a fake boarding pass. After a few minutes, she shruged and said "whatever" and waved me on to the machine.

Just seemed odd, I've never been told I have a "fake" boarding pass before. Anyone else have this happen to them? If they refuse to accept it, do you just go back to the check-in desk and ask for a reprint?
emphasis mine: gotta love it-says it's a fake bp but does nothing about it. brilliant, simply brilliant

as to having a screener tell you your bp is fake-total b/s afaic. i would a) ask how they made that determination and b) have them show the "fake parts" to you before you tell them where you got it (i.e. from the checkin machine or an actual agent) and then if they continue to doubt it, escalate it right there-do not even think of getting of line or heading back to the check-in counters-make the tsa come to you. very politely yet firmly ask for supervisor (and if need be, the tsa terminal manager) and the ground services coordinator for the airline in question as the latter should know what their own bp looks like.
