I searched for "Kzakhstan" in the Middle East, Asia, Russia forums as well as this forum and came up with Zero....which is very rare. I think I spelled it right.
I have an upcoming trip there...never been before...so...
* Recommendations on how to get there on *A or OneWorld ? from USA west coast?
* I typically look at State Department & UK Govt sites when travelling to a new country but are there any other good do's and don'ts sites for KZ?
* Probably going to Almaty - recommendations on where to stay
* Corruption level? (e.g. a long time ago I was 'shaken down' by police in Moscow)
* Anything else that would be good to know.
* Dates are probably late Feb/early March....brrrr
