My personal preference is 2A/K. I think they are not too far apart to have a level of conversation but you both get window seats, you both get aisle seats and you both have plenty of space.

Unless you talk regularly throughout a flight I'd go with them. I find that after dinner (which we can sit opposite each other) we both watch films with the odd chat here and there... 2AK is fine for that.
