unlike Izzy's which burnt the hell out of my steak last month

I could do without the rather mediocre cookies - if they can't provide a decent dessert they ought to dispense with it entirely as you don't want to leave a bad taste at the end of a nice meal
Overall the experience was good, the price was right, but I think we'll try prime rib Sunday next time

Aside from Walnut Creek, the only other location we've tried is Rancho Mirage, which was much larger, but also much noisier. One of these days when we get over to the Peninsula, we'll try the Palo Alto location. Although it was nice to hear
Craig6z enjoyed the cookies & milk, it was a complete turn-off when I read the menu to my significant other. So I agree ... offer a "decent" dessert or nothing at all. We enjoy the Sunday prime rib dinners, and you can select any dessert on the menu. We made reservations for Feb 13 because I like the special Valentine's menu over the Winter Prix Fixe (not to mention you'll walk away with a $25 gift card).
