There is a recoccuring theme whenever this topic comes up, "UA is not that bad". Clearly it is not wonderful, but who is? It has E+, it has larger better furnished AC (if they are reconfigured), it has MP the greatest frequent flyer program since the advent of sliced breadt and butter (we have SWUs, OMG, how can you live without them?). We CO flyers should be honored to have the likes of UA and their MP program in an allinace with us.

The fact is, I am happy with CO, while they are not the exemplar of great air transportation, they have their issues and J.Edward did a good job of identifying them (which airline does not?), but IMHO they are better than UA. It is all subjective folks, I fly UA and do not enjoy what they have to offer (btw, they no longer fly into PBI/FLL), you enjoy UA and do not find them much different than CO.

What does this all mean? We are humans, our perceptions play a large role in determining our likes and dislikes, it is that simple. In comparisions like this, there are no right answers, there are only opinions.
