On occasion its worth it to move. I was flying FLL-IAD last month, and was in the 1st row of Y. This minor (maybe 8-10 yrs old) got the ticket next to me, but her mother was sent back. She had the FA ask me If I'd be able to move for her to be with her son, and I could see this was going to happen from the moment they got on the plane, so I was even prepared a little for it. I just was polite, voiced a little concern because I had work to do and needed space, which is why I chose the 1st row aisle seat, blah blah blah. Basically I was pretty comliant, and not a PITA while doing it, (the FA requested me to, not the pax), and she then just bumped me up into F. 30 seconds later, have my laptop out of the overhead, and now in my F seat, "would you like something to drink, sir?" Meh moving I guess wasn't too bad
