I don't understand BA's logic on this. Given the population is becoming more, erm, "stout", you'd think they'd widen the seats a tad, especially in business class where there might well be a few better fed people than most.
On the other hand, some surveys have shown that being overweight is more prevalent in population segments for whom healthy food is too expensive.
