Ritz Carlton at Pentagon City in Arlington is very nice, attached to a shopping mall, two metro stops from DC and about 3 minutes from DCA (which is quickly and cheaply reached using the Washington Flyer bus service from IAD)...And not terribly expensive for a DC area hotel (esp. with the RC name...)

If you MUST get points, however, the Hilton National Airport in Crystal City is an OK property and is also very near a metro stop only 1 or 2 stops from DC...
