Alright, so now something new has popped up and I wanted to seek opinions.

I was scheduled to fly in SQ F from BKK-SIN on the same award ticket referenced in the OP. Well, SQ has dropped F on that route. The only one that flies F is LX, so part of me wants to call to change it. But, I was only charged 120K for an award that should have been 140K, and I'm leaving TATL and returning TPAC which makes it an illegal routing. Is there any way I can call and say "Hey, don't mess with my itinerary unless you can do this change" and have them not screw with my routing or take out more miles? I figure I might be able to do the tried and true technique of just calling back until I get someone who's willing, but didn't know if I should even bother risking it for fear of a) someone seeing what's "wrong" and fixing it or b) an agent screwing it up accidentally anyway.
