Can anybody tell me what Crowne Plaza's niche is? My first experience with a Crowne Plaza was years ago was at the Royal Palm in Miami Beach. It was a magnificent hotel! Unfortunatly, since then they have sold the property. My recent experiences with CP's haven't been nearly as impressive. For example, the last one I stayed in didn't even have a pen or pad of paper in the room. Does this brand simply fall between HI and IC?
