Chris,

for clarity, I assume you were booked on EC in Prem, right? Curious to hear (if you are collecting BAEC miles and points), what you earned on your rerouting. The original miles and points, or those of your reroute?

To answer the OP, I am contemplating flying EC again AMS-JFK towards a family function mid June, but indeed only if it is clear that an 'equal' re-accommodation on BA is provided in case there are no flights. But even then, (for the record, I have never flown WT+, but did love the Prem+ experience) with its almost business class like service and much better seats in Prem+ compared to WT+, I would not considder it a really fair substitution. On the other hand, I do understand that asking for NGCW when booked Prem would be over the top.

Originally the current promos were ending now, so I was going to wait to see if any would become available for flights in June, but the prem+ booking period was extended by a month, and the Biz promo booking period till 9 Feb...

Also, we are also waiting to see if I am finally going to get the miles and points from my EC flights in December...I called BAEC at first, they advised to wait a month, then submit a claim, which I did this week. Anyone had better luck?
