I can totally see your point, but on a recent flight LAX/JFK, when I refused to take the bulkhead, I ended up viewing zipper level of the bulkhead business associate when he and his co-worker seated next to me shared same stories.

My upgrade, in this case, lead to my alcoholism, as the other thread indicates...
