I will believe it when I see it. I have a hard time seeing UA spending (or finding) the money to do that right now. I know that the 777's are due to be upgraded to the new C/F configurations, but I can't imagine them going through the hassle and expense of reconfiguring the Y cabin as well unless there's more to it then just Empower.
If it proves to be true, I for one will be quite disappointed as having the option to snag one of the aisle/window combos on the 777 is one of the best parts about that UA equipment.
