Did the rules change?
I thought that if you were not the traveler, that as long as the coupon is applied with an Alaska Credit card that everything is OK.

I tried today to use a friends companion certificate on my flight, but was STRICKLY told that the owner of the certificate had to use her credit card. (A little bit of a hassle as I wanted to use my AS credit card and had to convince them to use theirs and take a cheque from me)

Can anyone confirm this?
