I just listened online, and I don't think that Cast / John Power was what I was hearing. There may have been some of their/his music in the mix, but I don't think that the song which grabbed my attention was by either the band or his solo stuff.

It gets fuzzier by the day, but I seem to recall a fairly simple acoustic track with both a male and female singer and some horns (trumpets?) in what was otherwise a pop / alt rock tune.

Sadly, that's all I recall.

Any other thoughts or suggestions on how to track it down?
