For grins and giggles, I did look into a rental car OW from Seattle to Vancouver and it is just over $100. I mapped the distance on Mapquest and it is only showing 156 miles from SEA to our hotel in BC. This might be an option for us afterall. I had heard that the drive was 4-5 hrs with traffic. But if it is less than 3 actual driving, I would be open to that. By the way, what are the tolls to cross the border? I'm sure the $680 for airfare is a great price but it's still more than I want to spend.
