I don't know a word of the language of the country I was born in, I don't have a passport from that country though, but I could have received one if I'd wanted it.
I was once walking through customs (before T5, whichever terminal the SK flights arrived at) when two of the officers (employees?) there saw me, broke off their conversation and started walking very decisively towards me. One of them asked me where I'd arrived from, to which I quickly replied "Sweden". Both of them stopped, one of them made a motion indicating I could keep walking, and they both went back to where they started and kept talking.
I always wondered what that was about...
I don't think I've ever been asked since T5 opened, and I don't have a UK passport anyway.
