Yes, I forgot to mention this. The 77As are equipped with a Rockwell airmap system which is great. Three dimensional graphics, overhead view which appears to use Google Earth as a backdrop. A real generational advance beyond the moving map system in the 74A.

Again, now that I think of it, you're right. The ceiling isn't as high as on the 74A.

I never liked them on the 74A. Half the time I end up breaking the stem in half while I'm moving a book, magazine, laptop, etc. Then I feel guilty, and it looks bad to boot. I would probably feel differently if the flowers were fragrant, but that might raise allergy issues.
