Made it thru no problems! Actually, TSA @ LAX TBIT was a joke last night. Aside from putting advertisements into my checked luggage (see another posted thread in the security forum), they didn't even peek into the bag. I didn't "declare" the >100ml bottle, nor did they even say anything after it went thru.

At HKG, I didn't "declare" it but they did see it in the xray and asked me about it.

You are right about the high explosives in "prescription" bottles though.
