Happy New Year // Happy Chinese New Year FT's. (Haven't been around for a while),

I will be getting into NRT in 20 hours and have no plans, apart from staying at the Sheraton till Monday there aren't any other arrangements.

This is my first trip to Japan and whilst i have studied the language in the past, i have no clue on what i can and should do.

So i pose the question. Where do FT's like to hangout whilst in Tokyo.
Any secret must-do's? Things off-the-beaten-track. The local pub, local restaurant.

What can and should i do whilst I'm there?

What's a nice restaurant/bar/club?

What things are cheaper in Japan (shopping wise, electronics) --> specifically i'm looking for a PS3.. (PAL/NTSC issues, Game issues?) --> Travelling with Euro's I'm hoping to land a bargain.

I have always wanted to take the bullet train, any day trips possible? Is OSAKA a possible day trip?


Most importantly i'm taking my girlfriend along and would like to be a romantic, anyone know the romantic places in Tokyo? ;-)
