I've gotten more flack from the agents (not sure if they work for the airline) who do the pre-screening prior to checkin. These are the people who put those annoying stickers on your passport.

When I told the immigration & customs agents in PHL that I had been gone only a day, they said, "Oh, you're on a mileage run!"

I'm doing another run to MUC in mid-Feb, hope no major hold-ups then. I will be there a night.
