Not exactly the same thing, but

I was flying from CAE to DFW en route to FRA and the plane was pretty empty, the FA was bored and stuck up a conversation. It dawned on her that DFW was a bit out of the way. I explained that I try to keep all possible travel with AA for the status.

I don't think she got it....

But then again neither does Mrs Gamecock.
