Last week I got my companion certificate on MP Visa anniversary renewal....today I booked tickets IAD-DFW for the President's day weekend - leave Saturday morning and back Monday morning. And Friday evening was also available in T.

This was a last moment trip we planned and got both for $476 (of which about $30 are taxes and fees for the companion ticket) - considering cheapest fares on UA / US (*A options) were at least around $280 last week and over $300 this week - this deal is nothing to brag about but it is not a bad deal at all for last minute travel. And there was plenty T inventory available.

Couldn't use last year's cert since not much domestic travel was planned - but this was certainly useful. Going to IAD to surrender the cert and get ticket issued. By the way - no charge for calling to book. ^
