I use them - for checked luggage. I've had a few over the years, 1994 QP (Navy Blue), 1995 Silver (Had to call and ask), 1996 Gold (These had leather straps), 2001 Gold , 2005 WP

I still have most; one of the leather ones disappeared on a flight so I keep the other one as a keep sake.
