Update: Just checked on the UA site and did find the link to FirstUsa. That's still ridiculous that they can't get their printed material right or tell their call center about the products they are selling. What a joke.

Since there is a prominent link on right side of the united.com home page, it's really not that difficult to find. Plus most non cardholders get dunned at least twice a month with invitation letters.
And why would you care whether its Chase or FirstUsa or whether they are one or the same... you're not lending them any money.
I signed up last month and my 30,000 miles posted even before I received my first statement, so something is working right.
