I wouldn't. In fact, I just cut up and cancelled my card.

For starters, AmEx has ended the "always double miles" perk on anything other than purchases from Delta.

You'd be better off picking up the SPG American Express. You earn starpoints with this card, which, other than being hotel points, can be transfered into virtually any airline alliance with a 5,000 mile bonus for 20,000 mile transfers.

Plus the SPG Amex is $45 bucks. The Delta Amex is $90. It's a no brainer.
