What is UFC ? (United first class ... probably not judging by the context)

Seems that going the E+ route is the way to go.

Also, I just want to confirm, so when I book this trip with miles (hoping i can), I'll stll be able to select E+ seats because I'm 2p right? I've got the 60k miles - no problem there.

Finally, the last two years I booked this trip, two years ago my dad bought me the trip with miles as a graduation gift - was from toronto (yyz maybe?) - PVG - Air Canada. The flight was 1/3 full and had an entire row to myself. Not too shabby! (though flight was 10 hours delayed)

Last year, I booked it via Air China, SFO - PEK - and it was about 2/3 full. No one next to me - huzzah!

So my question is, on United, are flights generally, full, half, 2/3 what's your experience for SFO - PEK or SFO - PVG. (I'll go to both cities, still deciding which to go to first) I know i'll get the consulting answer of "it depends" or the better consulting answer of "it depends, because ..." - but if you guys can tell me your experiences that would be great!
Transpac loads to China is very light right now going into May. If you fly before early May, you have good chance of finding entire row in coach for yourself. If you fly during the mid-May to August months, which can be crowded, you'll have lower chance of empty rows in coach.

On the other hand, if you pay for w-fare upgradeable fare, you are on your way to become 1P, which you can earn 100% bonus miles and e500 upgrades.
