I'm a diamond and was there for one night last week on an FFN stay ---arrived about 130am, and was checked into a jr. suite. It was a lovely room, and very quiet. A bowl of ripe fruit and box of chocolates were waiting, along with the standard "we're so glad you're staying with us" note.
When I checked in, I asked about a late check-out, perhaps 130pm. Front Desk asked if I'd prefer 4pm. And let me know that I could check out on the club level.
I wandered over to the spa around noon and asked about a massage. They had room at 230, so i went over to the club and let them know that I had reserved the massage, and could get my stuff out of the room now if they needed to turn it over. I was told to take my time---and then asked what price I was quoted for the massage. I said I'd just walked in and figured it would be the price listed in the spa services. At that point, the agent called down to the spa and said to change it to the "special," which saved me about 50 or 75 dollars.
I didn't get the name of the "special," but it is probably a "jet lag relief," or something like that. Anyone interested should probably just mention a long flight, and ask if there are any spa specials when checking in to the hotel.
I enjoyed my brief stay---I moved to the Ritz to use up some Marriott points, but would have been just as happy staying at the Hyatt.
