You might very well have an empty seat next to you, in which case you'll have a nice comfy closed off space all for yourself (better then a window seat on the main floor... only on upper deck is a window seat better due to all the space on the side with the individual lockers etc). And if you do end up having someone sitting next to you, look around. Maybe another seat is free and you can ask for a seat change, or just pull up the divider.
If sitting in the middle seats which are NOT facing a wall, then you'll need to walk over someones legs, but otherwise you might be just fine when getting out of your seat.
When I think about it, how many other companies actually do seats like this where you have as much privacy as on BA
