Thumbs down London Gatwick lounge

Hi,

I recently was flying with DL out of LGW and since the closure of the CRC, DL has been using BA's lounge. I was denied lounge access (not provided with an invitation) even though I was E+. I was informed that lounge invitation is only provided to BizElite and SkyMiles Platinum members. The same policy is applied to the arrivals lounge.

I was just wondering if such practice is normal or is it biased against other E+ ST members?
I think that if they want to be fair, they should just limit the invitation to BizElite passengers.. and not even to their own Platinum members who are E+ level. I guess CRC members are also not allowed?
