For what it's worth, I've done this trip a number of times both in C and E+. E+ really isn't too bad, particularly if you can get the 777 instead of the 747. I've found that, with my Bose and iPod, a movie or two on my laptop, and copious screwdrivers, the flight goes by pretty quickly (I sleep through most of it). I'd rather save the money to buy good food and fake antiques when I get to China.
