That's very interesting. I story I read on CNN was an account by a lady sitting in the last row. She said, the FA tried to open the door, couldn't b/c of the waterline, then tried to reclose it and couldn't do that either. She specifically said the FA did that...
We'll never know for sure, though. *MUST* look out before openning the door.
