Funny, I always thought "eurocheat" was the definition of every silver/gold card holder outside the UK. I just realized that it refers to UK residents pretending to live on the mainland.
Hi Lobengula,

Really enjoyed the last paragraph, very good! Terrible how we are made to feel really inferior! All this hassle because we enjoy flying BA and using the UK as a gateway.

Just to clarify for other EX UK residents based in Europe, 1 round trip in First (intercontinental) transiting London gives enough TP´s for new member/0 Blue to jump to "Eurocheat Silver" in one go. This could of course happen within a couple of days, meaning that in theory you would only need just over 1 year to make "Eurocheat Gold".

BA are clever enough to realise that an incentive is necessary for us "Europeans" to transit the UK, when one sees the unlimited travel options available between Europe and the rest of the world.

Anyway, I wouldn´t fly any other airline unless there was a really good reason!
