Yeah, that's what I have always done but in the last year some club bartenders like at JFK will only accept the most recently issued chits- I have at least three different styles in my travel wallet, even some of the old grey and red ones.
On occasion I have been offered one chit only at SFO and SEA but when I ask for two I always get them.
