SFO - PEK flight.

A fully upgradeable coach fare is (according to my travel agent) ~1400 ish and then I upgrade with miles,.

Just use 60k Miles and settle with Econ + and save the cash to buy bottles?

I don't mind splashing the miles. Which would you do? This is a leisure trip not business. I'm 2P but my dad has upgraded me to business a few times and it hurts to settle back to coach.

What would you guys do. I have an annual trip to PEK and so its not really a huge money thing, but 1400 is a lot to drop. I get the miles through work, so more miles I'll get.
