As mentioned, I've found their F service spotty, their 757 satellite entertainment doesn't work more often than it works, and their upgrade process has seen some recent signs of shenanigans that would light this forum up like a roman candle at a gas station.
I *just* gave up my Delta Platinum status, trading it in for Platinum on Continental. First flight yesterday. Biggest disappointment is lack of screens in boarding area showing where you are on the standby/upgrade lists.
In addition to satisfying curiosity, minimizing hassle of folks asking if they've cleared, it's a very transparent way to show that the requisite process are taking place. Continental needs that system in my opinion.
There's no reason not to -- unless there is something that they don't want us to see.
