There is absolutely one positive change...NW elites are not upgraded on DL flights (and vice versa). Regardless of the bug they may have with placing NW elites at the bottom of the airport upgrade list (which I hear is fixed anyway), that's a positive. Now maybe semantics come into play here because the recip upgrades were announced before the merge was *official*, but clearly the merge forced them to do this sooner.
