2 X ORD-CDG per year for the past 7 years, and I know we have gone out of Satelite A-38 at least twice in the past 3 years, but most of the time it is A-45ish. One time it was a hard stand via bus on the outbound (many more times on the arrival--inexcusable in any event IMO).

Not sure what the thought process is. The CX 747 flight always seems to go out of the satelite, and yet their lounge is by A-45. So AA and CX seem to have the same problem more or less, and since 1 of the 2 companies is managed correctly, but the results are the same, it may not be a problem which AA management is capable of screwing up, since it may be out of their hands.
